Jax Bed

Sadly, the Jax bed only lasted three days.... I guess I'll try again next year.

A bed for Jax

I can't believe my baby Jax will be a year old next week. I decided it was time for a new bed... we'll see how long it takes for him to chew this one up.

Etsy

I'm working on opening up a shop on Etsy. Here is my flower design for the emery sand pincushions.

Back at it!

I’m finally getting back into the swing of things… it’s been an eventful summer. Here are a few of the projects I’ve finally gotten around to completing.

I finished painting Kira and Mia's room and made and painted shelves for all their little goodies. I also made a dirty clothes bag that would go with their room. All I did was prime and spray paint a hook and embroidery hoop a nice chiffon yellow and attach an old pillowcase the girls liked and some ribbon. So far it has withstood my 4yr old...

I then pieced togeather curtains for their window and I'm pleased it turned out so well.

With the leftover fabric, I decided to piece together doll quilts. I machine embroidered a 'K' for Kira and 'M' for Mia on the front of each quilt. Mia has her doll in my old baby cradle my Uncle Magnus made for me when I was a child. I’m glad she enjoys it as much as I did at her age!

Gifts for Grandma's 80th Birthday.

Sunday I finished the gifts for my Grandma. I made her a wall hanging for her kitchen and crocheted some dishtowels. Grandma loves roosters!

Kira's gift in progress

I started a wall hanging gift for Kira but I’m not sure I like it. The girls do, so I thought I would do another picture on the backside. Since I did a rainy picture I thought I would do and sunny picture.

Mia's Birthday Gift 2/14/09

I made Mia an appliquéd wall hanging for her 4th birthday. I also used machine embroidery and buttons for the flowers. Buttons as well, were used for the ‘apples’ on the tree.

Jonah's 5th Birthday - Gifts

I made a JONAH banner and a rolled case to hold his markers and paper.

Past Projects

I made bags for Mia and Kira to keep all of their ballet stuff together.

I made a bag and a head kerchief for Michelle's Birthday.

The quilt I made for Elijah's baptism.

My first attempt at doll making. I made a "Mia" and a "Kira" doll.

I worked on many projects this past year, but didn't think to take a picture.
