The Forth of July

The girls were in the Forth of July Parade in Kirkland, WA. It was their first time in the parade and are oh, so excited to do it again next year. The girls and my husband even have plans to dress up our dog, Jax.
My dad took Kira on the tandem and attached the ‘tag along’ bike for Mia. They all had a blast!

1st attempt

Here is my 1st attempt at a paperclay doll... we'll see how it goes!

Started two heads and one set of legs and arms so far. I'll start sanding after they dry.

Everything is blooming!

We have been working so hard in the yard and it’s paying off! Look how beautiful…

The girls are not afraid to get their hands dirty and help pull the weeds.

Birthday gift for my good friend

This bag was made for a good friends birthday.
I machine embroidered her initials and filled the bag with the goodies she likes and uses most.

Knitting with Kira December 2009

I had so much fun in knitting class with my 6yr daughter. She picked it up pretty quickly. Alison at Renaissance Yarns in Kent was an amazing teacher. I can't wait to take another class!

Where did the time go?

Christmas came and went so fast again this year, but I did manage to get a few things completed.

The bag was for my sister-in-law

My four year old daughter received an apron, scarf and Fancy Nancy blanket for her "big" twin bed.

The smock was made for the little girl of a friend.
